Over the years, I have had a series of IM screen names, but only a few were used significantly.
Principals (in order used)
- jeff420rey This was my first AIM screen name, and it was quite honestly, the silliest name I could have come up with. I simply split my name and threw in 420. This wasn’t the best screen name, and had to go, because advertising 420 is not always desirable. I recall my first personal (not school) email address was jeff420rey@go.com, and sending emails to my father always made me a bit nervous. He never asked though.
- sypho34 This was my first real try at being unique. I got the idea for sypho during my freshman philosophy class. I was bored, looking at my notebook, and twisted the letters around in the ending of the word “philosophy.” S-O-P-H-Y became S-Y-P-H-O. It sounded hacker-esque. I threw on 34, and that was that.
