Cherylynn Schilling (GEI)

Jeffrey Wisniewski (7/31/2008 11:20:44 AM): hey cherylynn, what dod you say your background was?
Jeffrey Wisniewski (7/31/2008 11:20:48 AM): *did
Jeffrey Wisniewski (7/31/2008 11:20:55 AM): i mean, in school?
Cherylynn Schilling (7/31/2008 11:22:27 AM): Well, I would really call it general because I didn’t really specialize in one specific thing. I did the environmental specialization, but the classes I enjoyed most were in geotech and design, interestingly enough
Jeffrey Wisniewski (7/31/2008 11:23:07 AM): yea, that is what I recalled
Jeffrey Wisniewski (7/31/2008 11:23:19 AM): just between you and me
Jeffrey Wisniewski (7/31/2008 11:23:24 AM): i’ve had two snapples
Cherylynn Schilling (7/31/2008 11:24:07 AM): Hahaha! But it’s only 11:30…..you’re supposed to only have one in the morning and not another until after your lunchtime walk!!!
Cherylynn Schilling (7/31/2008 11:31:11 AM): P.S. I hope they were cold.
Jeffrey Wisniewski (7/31/2008 11:39:48 AM): yea, the fridge is stocked now
Jeffrey Wisniewski (7/31/2008 11:40:10 AM): i’ve been working in Sac the past two weeks (except today), so my iced tea diet has been on hold
Cherylynn Schilling (7/31/2008 11:41:46 AM): Oh, i see….then I guess your having two already is well warranted. Did you approach your supervisor with the do/don’t skill to address the warm snapple concerns?
Jeffrey Wisniewski (7/31/2008 11:43:35 AM): no, but i did talk to the main boss about it, but Tracy asked for the fridge to be stocked regardless, so it is not an issue.
Jeffrey Wisniewski (7/31/2008 11:43:48 AM): i hope to bring it up humorously at a lunch
Cherylynn Schilling (7/31/2008 11:46:27 AM): Ha! I’m sure you’ll be able to pull it off. As evidenced by my little story at the end of the training, I was able to take care of my “undiscussable” humorously at a meal….and now Naser and I are best friends!
Jeffrey Wisniewski (7/31/2008 11:46:41 AM): haha
————————————
Cherylynn Schilling (7/31/2008 11:48:39 AM): Well, I’m glad to hear that your snapple situation has been resolved. One less thing on the company to-do list
Jeffrey Wisniewski (7/31/2008 11:52:54 AM): maybe i’ll be asked to talk about it on the next company-wide conference call
Cherylynn Schilling (7/31/2008 11:55:59 AM): haha! That would be hilarious…..well, then you have until September to have something prepared
————————————
Cherylynn Schilling (8/20/2008 8:21:56 AM): Welcome back to Sactown…..sorry we don’t have Snapple!
Jeffrey Wisniewski (8/20/2008 8:24:30 AM): haha
Jeffrey Wisniewski (8/20/2008 8:24:33 AM): it is good to be beack
Jeffrey Wisniewski (8/20/2008 8:24:44 AM): *back
Cherylynn Schilling (8/20/2008 8:26:24 AM): Well, if it is any consolation….last thursday Mark Fortner brought in donuts, and then on Monday I told him they were wicked awesome, so then he said he MIGHT bring them in again this thursday…..so that’s what’s keeping me going as of right now
Jeffrey Wisniewski (8/20/2008 8:26:53 AM): that is decent consolation
Jeffrey Wisniewski (8/20/2008 8:27:18 AM): but a steady supply of cold snapple does triumph
Jeffrey Wisniewski (8/20/2008 8:27:27 AM): we are trying to phase-in diet snapple too
Jeffrey Wisniewski (8/20/2008 8:27:31 AM): to cut down on the sugars
Jeffrey Wisniewski (8/20/2008 8:27:58 AM): and my walks around the lake are working well
Jeffrey Wisniewski (8/20/2008 8:28:20 AM): it is 3 miles, and i cover it in 1 hour, so that is, um, 20 — no — 3 miles an hour
Cherylynn Schilling (8/20/2008 8:30:56 AM): HAhaha!!! Yeah, that still cracks me up! Well, that’s good to hear that the walks are working out fine. Good luck phasing in the diet snapple though…..I find I’m not particularly fond of diet versions of my favorite foods, but I’m sure it is do-able
Jeffrey Wisniewski (8/20/2008 8:31:19 AM): yea, it takes some getting used to
Jeffrey Wisniewski (8/20/2008 8:31:22 AM): but for example
Jeffrey Wisniewski (8/20/2008 8:31:40 AM): i would down a lemon snapple (my personal favorite) in a fe wminutes’
Jeffrey Wisniewski (8/20/2008 8:31:54 AM): but with diet, i drink it over the course of two hours
Jeffrey Wisniewski (8/20/2008 8:32:23 AM): so we are thinking 2/3 diet, 1/3 regular
Jeffrey Wisniewski (8/20/2008 8:32:30 AM): seems like a good mix to have in the refrigerator
Cherylynn Schilling (8/20/2008 8:35:18 AM): Hm….that sounds like a good strategy actually….and if the walking thing really starts working out you should eventually turn it into running….you can do 2 laps and if you cover the 6 miles in an hour that would be, like…….[counts on fingers and in head]…..6 miles an hour!!!
Cherylynn Schilling (8/20/2008 8:35:37 AM): [double checks on TI-89]
Jeffrey Wisniewski (8/20/2008 8:36:04 AM): haha
Jeffrey Wisniewski (8/20/2008 8:36:43 AM): oh yea, i meant to tell you this before, but the thing with running is the perspiration
Jeffrey Wisniewski (8/20/2008 8:36:58 AM): i woild be drenched the second-half of the day
Jeffrey Wisniewski (8/20/2008 8:37:07 AM): i would need to “hit the showers”
Cherylynn Schilling (8/20/2008 8:39:00 AM): oh yeah….i guess you’re right. Well, if you were ever interested you could try just running once and in the first half hour, and then rinse off during the second…and the weather will be cooler soon too….though even then I would probably not want to personally just because of all the effort
